Every year, hundreds of thousands of students benefit from financial programs administered by HESC. No other state puts college within the reach of so many students as New York. Nobody works harder to make the college funding process faster and easier for students, parents and administrators.

• Manages more than 18 grant and scholarship programs, including the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), the nation's largest state grant
• Leads the nation in providing state-sponsored grants, scholarships and tuition waivers
• Provides students and administrators flexible, responsive service when they need it, where they need it and how they need it
• Assists schools and students with advanced default prevention, financial literacy and counseling programs
